Jennifer brings to Watercrest 20 years of senior living experience. She began her journey in 2003 as a Senior Living Advisor. It was in this role that ignited her passion for serving seniors and providing support to their family members. Shortly after joining the healthcare industry, Jennifer’s beloved Nana was diagnosed with dementia. Navigating the disease process with a member of her own family prompted Jennifer to find ways to expand her knowledge in her field. Ensuring that older adults living with memory loss receive the highest quality of care is a key daily driver for her.
In 2005, Jennifer became a licensed administrator as she loves being a part of a community setting and finding ways to connect people by building genuine relationships. Over Jennifer’s career, she has made it her mission to learn all aspects of healthcare. She has operated Home Health agencies, In-home care agencies and held operational leadership roles as Executive Director in large continuum of care communities that included Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care and Skilled Nursing. Jennifer is a certified Administrator in New Jersey and Florida as well as a Certified Dementia Practitioner. She volunteers annually with the Alzheimer’s Association to help raise funds for research for a cure.
She has had the opportunity to help mentor and develop many associates over the years to grow into key community leadership role and purse advancements in the healthcare field.
Jennifer and her husband, Shawn, are originally from New Jersey. In 2016, they were more than happy to leave the snow behind and move to sunny Florida. Although they live in Florida, they remain “huge” Philadelphia Flyers hockey fans. Together, Jennifer and Shawn have four grown boys: Brandon, 28, Christian and Jacob 23, and Anthony 21. They have two adorable grandchildren; Trinity, 3, and Julian 1.
When Jennifer is not at her community, her and her husband enjoy taking adventurous day trips such as helicopter rides, nature hikes, exploring different beaches, and navigating the shopping outlets on a Saturday! She also enjoys finding ways to express her creativity, whether it is painting, gardening or her new project of learning how to play the guitar.
