Diana has 40+ years of healthcare experience. Diana is dual Licensed in South Carolina as a Nursing Home and Assisted Living Administrator as well as a Licensed Preceptor for Long Term Care. Diana has served as Executive Director at Continuous Care Residential Communities that included Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care. She has also served as CEO for several inpatient rehabilitation hospitals in Indiana and South Carolina. She previously worked for Prisma Health, a large healthcare system in South Carolina, in a Director role in Compliance, Skilled Nursing, Acute Care and Outpatient Rehabilitation.
Diana Holds a master’s degree in health care management. She has had extensive leadership training through Studer Group and University of South Carolina Leadership Institute.
Diana is married to Barry Chavis and is a mother and grandmother. Diana resides in West Columbia. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, gardening and spending time at the beach or in the water on the lake.
