Tammy Mullins brings more than 20 years of senior living experience to her new role. She has held multiple positions in the senior living industry across the country, including business office manager, business office trainer, assistant executive director, executive director, operations specialist, and regional director. She is a Certified Director of Assisted Living (CDAL) and a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) as well as a trainer for Dementia Dialogues and a licensed Assisted Living Administrator in the states of South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee and Florida. She loved traveling to different communities as an operations specialist and a regional director but was missing the one-on-one relationships with associates and residents, she decided to return to the community level as an executive director where she oversees the daily operations of the community and provides support to each department. Her goal is to meet and exceed company expectations and ensure the needs of each associate, resident and individual in the community are met while being an asset to Watercrest as they work to redefine the Senior Living Industry. She is looking forward to building strong relationships with residents, families and associates at Watercrest Indian Land.
Tammy is originally from Clemson, South Carolina area and is best known for her infectious constant smile. She holds a degree in Business Management but specialized in Healthcare Management. Her career sent her to Florida for a few years, but she returned to the Carolinas at the beginning of 2020 and calls Charlotte, North Carolina home. She developed a passion for seniors at a young age. She was raised primarily by her grandmother and that deepened her respect and love for helping seniors, so she made it her career. Tammy believes that the road she has traveled in her life has prepared her to be an advocate for assuring that her residents have the best quality of life possible.
When Tammy is not working you will find her traveling with her husband Allen who she adores and has been married to for twenty-one years or spending time with her two daughters Tiffany & Summer and her five adorable grandbabies Crimson, Karder, Dallas, Jaxon & Michael ranging in age from three to sixteen. She also can be found pulling for her favorite football teams the Clemson Tigers or the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday and Sunday.
