Rosemarie brings a lifelong passion for working with the elderly and their families. Her grandmothers both lived with memory loss and dementia and she witnessed firsthand the love and compassion they received during their family’s difficult time. Those caregivers were angels; a godsend to her family, leading Rosemarie to devote her life to improving the lives of others.
She began as a volunteer in memory care at a skilled nursing facility where she learned importance of creating joyful moments for each resident and their family members.
Rosemarie’s experience includes multiple roles from business office manager to executive director in skilled nursing, independent living, assisted living and memory care in New York and Florida.
She is passionate about improving the lives of residents and associates and understands it takes a very special person to care for residents with memory loss. Rosemarie loves working side by side with caregivers and encouraging teamwork, whether serving a meal or helping out in programming.
“Our Residents do not live in our workplace, we work in their home”. Compassion, love and kindness are core values integrated into her daily life.
Rosemarie was born and raised in a small town called Herkimer in upstate New York. She and her husband of 34 years, Ralph, raised four children, who are now grown: Thomas and wife Jennifer with daughter Daphne Rose (NY), James and wife, Elizabeth (FL), Andrew (OR), and Sarah and husband, Matthew (FL).
Rosemarie and Ralph moved to Viera in 2013. She enjoys spending time with her granddaughter, cooking and baking Italian family recipes, the beach, visiting friends in NY, crocheting, and spending time with her Yorkie, Teddy, and Labradoodle, Charlie, a therapy dog.
