Michelle was born and raised in Florida. In her senior year of high school, she got a full scholarship from a singing audition to her local community college. However, six months into her freshman year, she decided to join the United States Army. She served 4 years in Military Intelligence as a Korean Linguist, Electronic Warfare Signal Interceptor Specialist. During her four years, she was stationed in several places, including a year in Korea. Her last duty station was in Fort Lewis Washington. It was there that she resided until she returned home 14 years ago.
Michelle has been a nurse for 22 years now. She found her “home” with senior living 13 years ago when she started as a floor nurse in an assisted living. She was quickly promoted to nursing director and remained in that role in two different assisted living companies. She discovered where she was always meant to be when she came to Watercrest a year and a half ago as an Assistant Executive Director in the Watercrest St. Lucie West community.
Michelle lives in Port St. Lucie with her husband Paul and has two boys, Gavin aged 24, and Aiden aged 13. They live 3 blocks away from her mother. She and her family are active members of their community, having served five years as a Cub Scout Leader, volunteering to be a Keep Port St. Lucie Beautiful Ambassador, and trying to help out in the community wherever possible. Her family’s motto and mission in life is to leave the world better than it was when they came into it.
