Hunter joined Watercrest Senior Living with a life-long love for the senior care industry. She began her journey in healthcare by volunteering at her mother’s senior living community at a very young age. This is when she knew she had to follow in her mother’s footsteps. After receiving her degree in Healthcare Administration in 2017, Hunter began her senior living career as a Sales and Marketing Liaison for an assisted living community in Myrtle Beach. From there, she quickly grew into learning more about the operational aspects of senior living, and in 2018 received her South Carolina Long Term Care administrator’s license. In 2018, Hunter left her hometown and moved to Summerville, SC for the opportunity to make a difference as an Executive Director. After two years in Summerville Hunter has moved back to her hometown to serve the seniors of Myrtle Beach.
Hunter’s experience of watching her mom interact with residents, families, and staff has given her a better understanding of providing quality care, while supporting and encouraging team members. She believes that quality of life is not only about the individual’s experience, but for the families as well, who are learning how to navigate this decision-making process.
When Hunter is not serving seniors, she enjoys time with her friends and family. Her best days are spent on the water with her fur babies, Molly and Maverick.
