Tracey Bates brings 17 years of Human Resource experience to Watercrest

Senior Living Group. Tracey feels her greatest asset is using her God given talent

of developing and sustaining human relations with her peers, her associates, and

her superiors. Although Tracey studied elementary education in college, her interest

and desire to work in the HR field began in 1994 when she was recruited as a

Human Resources Assistant in the corporate office of a large nationwide mortgage

company. With this position came the responsibility of guiding and coaching

managers and associates in 12 offices located across 5 states. Six years ago,

Tracey transitioned her HR career into Senior Living and enjoys the versatility it

has to offer. It affords her the opportunity to build relationships with our residents,

their family members, and our associates.

 

Prior to joining Watercrest Senior Living Group, Tracey excelled as the Regional

Director of Human Resources for a regional operating company serving 1,300

associates in 17 senior living communities. Recognized by her colleagues as a

trusted advisor, her expertise in performance improvement, career development,

and employee retention was paramount in creating a positive environment for

associates and residents alike. A recipient of the SERVANT Leadership award,

Tracey was recognized for her exemplary performance in creating a culture of

service.

 

Tracey is a member of the national chapter of SHRM and recently received a Master

Certification in Human Resources Management from Villanova University. She and

her husband Mark were raised in Indiana and have enjoyed living in Palm Harbor, FL

for the past 15 years. Most weekends you will find them boating and enjoying all of

the outdoor water activities that Florida has to offer.
